Lidl shoppers have shared their shock over the 'disgusting' price of a packet of ham.
One customer shared a photo of the 400g packet of ham she saw in store with a price tag of £4.49.
Her post, in a budgeting Facebook group, attracted the attention of hundreds of shoppers who shared their disbelief over the cost and said they have noticed prices rising steeply at the budget supermarket.

"When I saw it last week I thought they had made a mistake," said one shopper. "Then I read it and said no way Jose! It’s a joke surely."
"Noticed that today. Disgusting prices," said another, while a third said she 'nearly hit the floor' when she saw the price.
The cost of the 400g packs of smoked ham, honey cured ham and smoked chicken were selling for around £3.99 a few weeks back.
Tammy Clarke-Porter, who took the photo in store, said: "As a mother of five sons, four of whom are teenagers and seem to eat constantly, these type of price rises are not acceptable.
"Having to choose the cheaper Processed meats is not something any parent wants to do, but shopping bills are just not sustainable anymore."
Some customers did point out that this is a more expensive product to the cooked ham it sells for £1.99, so is probably better quality. That too has increased in price recently. In a comparison we did at Lidl towards the end of last year, it was retailing at £1.69 but is now almost £2.
And the price increases are forcing some shoppers to look elsewhere.
"Refuse to shop at Lidl anymore," said one. "I've moved to Asda, much cheaper."
"Lidl has got so expensive now compared to the prices before," said another.
Just last week shoppers were warned that supermarket price increases are not ending any time soon after figures showed that grocery inflation continued to climb during February, reaching a new record high of 17.1%.
Kantar Worldpanel reported that the increase over the past 12 months has added a potential £811 to annual household shopping bills.
And while many people are turning to supermarket's own label ranges to cope with price increases, they have seen higher inflation than branded products, with own label items rising by 21.6% year-on-year to the end of January compared to 13.2% for branded ones.
In our weekly comparison of shopping essentials, which has tracked prices of the same eight items at the main six supermarkets for almost a year now, it's Lidl that has been the cheapest for the majority of weeks.
The comparison looks at the cost of a two-pint bottle of milk, a loaf of bread, a pack of chicken breasts, a pack of mince, tea bags, coffee, beans and butter. Lidl is once again cheapest this week with a bill of £11.58.
The Manchester Evening News has approached Lidl for comment.
