A Lidl shopper has said she can 'never go back' to the supermarket after suffering an embarrassing exchange at the checkout.

The woman was in stitches after a playful comment at the supermarket tills left her red-faced with embarrassment. The shopper detailed her hilarious yet horrifying experience on Facebook after the blunder at Lidl 's shopping tills left her vowing never to go back, reported The Mirror.

Posting to popular group Family Lowdown Tips & Ideas on Facebook, she shared the mortifying ordeal with 1.2million page followers. The shopper said: "I don’t think I can ever go back to Lidl again!"
