Stores across the UK recorded the highest levels of footfall coming during the busiest period in the middle of the day between 12pm and 2pm.

For anyone concerned about queues, the Lidl Plus app allows you to check how busy your local store is in real-time, helping you plan your shopping trip.
The app also offers exclusive weekly rewards and discounts for your next shop after scanning the digital card at the app, with discounts of up to 25% on some items. As we get closer to Christmas, the retailer has also been offering customers a new coupon each day this month.
