Lidl restocking £49.99 air fryer that could slash energy bills by hundreds of pounds

If you've been trying to get your hand on an air fryer, then head to Lidl this weekend as the supermarket is finally restocking the sell-out appliance.

The popular budget German grocer has confirmed that it will be restocking its Silvercrest Air Fryer 2.2L this Sunday, November 13, in stores nationwide - and it could reduce your energy bills by hundreds of pounds a year.

With households continuing to feel the crunch from the cost of living crisis, many have been looking for ways to reduce their energy bills at home - especially in the kitchen.

Air fryers in particular have gained popularity this year, with sales skyrocketing by 3,000% since this time last year, and up 2,000% since the summer, due to their energy efficiency and lower running costs.

The nifty appliances are said to run on average at £55.91 per year, compared to gas cookers at £121.06 and electric cookers at £335.57, meaning they are a great way for cutting back on your monthly energy bill.

According to Utilita, air fryers can save shoppers up to £279.66 per year, which is why they have been flying off the shelves this year.

And if you don't want to empty your savings for one of the more pricier models such as Ninja, then Lidl's air fryer offers a good alternative, as it is priced at just £49.99. You might want to be quick, as Lidl says the deal will only be available while stocks last.

The Silvercrest Air Fryer not only helps you cut back on your energy, but can also help to cook healthier meals, as it uses no added oil or fat, and it can be used to bake, grill or fry.

It also comes complete with a LED touch screen display with preset programmes, illuminated food symbols, a pre-programmed quick-start function and 1-60 minute timer setting. And if you are worried about it breaking down, then it also comes with a three-year warranty, meaning you are covered for that period of time.

Customers looking to purchase the Silvercrest Air Fryer for £49.99 might want to head to their local Lidl store this Sunday, November 13, to grab one while stocks still last. Find your local branch here.
