Lidl GB has recalled one of its popular fish products amid safety concerns. A number of allergens were missing from the label of some of its Select and Go Sushi Boxs.
It means people with allergies including fish, milk, egg, soy, wheat and mustard should not eat the food. Instead they are advised to return it to the store for a full refund.
In a product recall notice the Food Standards Agency said: "Lidl GB is recalling Select and Go Sushi Box Salmon and Shrimp because the product contains crustaceans, fish, mustard, sesame, soya, egg, wheat (gluten), milk, and sulphites which are not emphasised on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy to crustaceans, and/or fish, and/or mustard, and/or sesame, and/or soya, and/or an allergy or intolerance to egg, and/or wheat or gluten, and/or milk or milk constituents, and/or anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites."
