There’s an extended four-day Bank Holiday weekend to mark the occasion, which marks 70 years since the monarch first became Queen.

Lidl opening and closing times for the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday
Lidl tells the Mirror that its stores will be open as usual on Saturday June 4, and Sunday, June 5. On Thursday and Friday - June 2 and June 3 respectively - opening hours may vary.

Lidl supermarkets are typically open from 8am to 10pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10am until 4pm on Sunday.
Organisers expect tens of millions of people throughout the UK to join the festivities over the Platinum Jubilee weekend. The Big Jubilee Lunch event takes place on June 5.
Pubs in England and Wales have also been given permission to open later from June 2 to June 4. Opening hours have been temporarily extended by two hours, meaning that pubs have the option to keep serving until 1am instead of 11pm.
