Lidl has shaken up its loyalty scheme app by introducing a new feature that could see one lucky shopper win a whopping £10,000.
The budget supermarket chain's loyalty app, Lidl Plus, regularly helps shoppers save money at the supermarket with various features that includes discount coupons and prizes.
Now the discounted grocer has introduced the new fruit and veg stamp card feature that will allow shoppers to enter a prize draw once they have earned enough stamps.
The digital card feature will see customers with the Lidl Plus app given a virtual stamp every time they spend £5 or more on fresh fruit and vegetables in store.
Customers need to scan their app at the checkout when they are at the till where the stamps will automatically be added to their accounts.
Once shoppers have collected four stamps, they can enter themselves into a prize draw where they could win one of 100,000 fruit and veg coupons - with one in line for the massive £10,000 cash prize.
Each submitted stamp card is one entry into the draw and shoppers can enter multiple times but will only be eligible for one win.
Customers don't have long to enter the fruit and veg prize draw as it officially closes on Wednesday March 1. Winners will be announced between Thursday March 2 and Friday March 10.
The Lidl Plus app was first launched in 2020 and provides customers with exclusive rewards and discounts. Shoppers are also rewarded with discounted coupons on specific products each week.
Bargain hunters can download the loyalty app for free from Google Play and the App Store.
