A few of the UK's biggest supermarket chains have pulled a number of food items from store shelves due to various health and safety concerns.
Lidl, Iceland and Tesco are among the retailers which have had to issue food recalls, with some of them even sending "do not eat" warnings to shoppers over the affected products.
Food recalls are issued by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) and alerts are usually announced on social media to make shoppers aware of what has been pulled from shelves and why.
Shoppers are now being urged to check if they have any of the affected products and, if they do, to return them to store for a full refund with or without a receipt, reports The Liverpool Echo.
We have detailed below all the up to date information that you will need on the recent FSA recalls. The information will tell you what product has been recalled, why and what to do if you have purchased the affected item.
Tesco and Waitrose
