One of the nation's favourite discount supermarket chains has announced that they are looking to add "hundreds of new locations" to their current 950 UK sites.
Popular for its cheap alternatives to Britain's "big four", a la mode streetwear and its brilliantly chaotic middle aisle, Lidl has published a list of possible locations where they will be opening new stores, which include include retail parks, as well as metropolitan sites and high streets all over the country.
The full list is not a comprehensive tally of stores that will definitely be opened, but more of a prospective one. Out of the 1,168 locations, they say "only a small number will eventually be developed and opened as stores".
