As Black Friday rapidly approaches, punters are eagerly awaiting to see what special offers high street retailers will be boasting ahead of Christmas.
And while the event doesn't take place until November 25 this year, this Friday coming, a number of UK shops have already started slashing prices to get ahead of the curve in terms of competition.
Argos, for example, has just announced its lowest ever prices on a litany of products, while Curry's is set to give away free televisions in its early sale.

And now, it's the turn of German retailer Lidl to unleash some savings - with the highly-successful supermarket chain offering an abundance of cut-price specials on tech such as TVs, laptops, vacuum cleaners and more. One of the most alluring of all comes in the form of a 42-inch Toshiba smart TV for less than £200, sporting a number of fantastic features.
This telly features Dolby Audio, a Voice assistant for hands-free controls and there is even a Gaming Mode which optimises the vibrancy of the screen to help boost the graphics when playing PS5 and Xbox titles.
Meanwhile, those in need of a new laptop can grab a reasonable Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3 for just £129. All in all, a Chromebook with a fully flexible hinge which converts it from a laptop into a tablet. Plus, there's a ten-hour battery life on it as well as stereo speakers.
Another mention-worthy deal in the Lidl sale comes in the form of a mammoth £80 off the GTech Pro 2 Cordless Vacuum. This Dyson rival features a 40-minute runtime in total, and is completely adaptable for cleaning all around the house.
Along with the GTech Pro on offer, there's also the Bellray 2-in-1 cleaner which now costs just £59.99.
Other deals worth a mention include money off Tassimo coffee machines, and there's a Xiamoi fitness tracker for £22.99 plus over £20 off Oral B Electric Toothbrushes.
Of course, Lidl doesn't have a home delivery service so you should find all of these deals in store. To see all of the deals available check out Lidl's Black Friday webpage .
