Libya Oil Firm Says Gunmen Cause Shutdown at Two Major Fields

Libya's National Oil Corporation announced on Sunday the suspension of production from two major oil fields after an armed group shut down valves delivering crude.

The NOC declared "force majeure" at the Al-Sharara and Al-Fil fields due to the shutdown, according to a statement published on Facebook.
