A Liberal Democrat MP has been suspended from the party and had the whip removed.
The suspension of Cameron Thomas, MP for Tewkesbury, is pending the outcome of a police investigation.
The party stated it was unable to comment further while the investigation is ongoing.
Mr Thomas was elected in the 2024 general election, marking the first time Tewkesbury has had a non-Conservative MP since 1885.
He is a former Royal Air Force officer who served for 23 years, including tours in Iraq and the Falkland Islands.
