Liam Payne has hit back at a troll who accused his new girlfriend Kate Cassidy of only being with him for his 'money'.
Former One Direction singer Liam, 29, has fallen for blonde beauty Kate after splitting from Maya Henry for a second time earlier this year.
After making their relationship official a number of weeks ago, the smitten couple have since been sharing a number of loved-up pictures and videos on social media - but some cynical fans believe that their romance is fake.
Liam and Kate went public with their romance over the Halloween period - stepping out in London together dressed as former 90s couple Pamela Anderson and Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee.
Since then, the former One Direction singer has been receiving cruel messages on Instagram in relation to his new romance.
Taking to Instagram on Christmas Day, Liam shared a screenshot of a DM he sent was sent from an unhappy fan who blasted his new romance with Kate.
But the singer insisted that his love was real for Kate, and that he has never felt love like it before.
Defending his relationship, Liam said: "Gotta say you could tell me anything and I couldn't be turned, I've never felt a love like I do for Katelyn. We make each other better people."
Hitting back at claims Kate is only with him for his money, the singer, who has an estimated worth of £58 million said: "If it was just for the money I'd give her all of it."
"It's not though (please remember I'm hella sexy) and I know I'm fun and a loveable person. And I don't give a f*** to say that for the first time in my life I'm happy to be me and that's priceless."
Kate made things Instagram Official with Liam earlier this month, as he gushed over a snap she shared of them both posing together on a red carpet.
"Who is that lucky lucky dashing young man next to you?" Liam commented underneath his girlfriend's post on December 7.
He added: "Nah seriously you look fantastic I coulda just told you that as your on the sofa next to me but you know tech and phones n stuff."
