Liam Gallagher will play an intimate gig at KOKO in Camden ahead of the release of Kebworth 22, his new live album.
The album will be made up of recordings from Gallagher’s two night concerts at Knebworth Park in Stevenage last year, where the Manchester singer played to a total of 170,000 fans.
The musician has history with Knebworth; in 1996 Oasis famously played to a quarter of a million fans there over two now-legendary nights.
The upcoming gig will be played on August 9 – just two days before the release of the new album. It will be Gallagher’s only indoor gig this summer.

Kebworth 22 is set to include tracks from across the singer’s career, including solo hits and Oasis favourites. Hello, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova, Shockwave, Everything’s Electric, Once and Slide Away will all feature on the album, as will slightly lesser-known solo songs such as C’mon You Know.
“So we recorded the Knebworth gigs we did last year. We all sound Biblical, turn it up ENJOY,” said Gallagher.
The Knebworth performances pulled in enthusiastic reviews, with Clash calling it “A triumphant and rousing return for the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll star,” and The Telegraph saying, “Gallagher’s impeccable rock star swagger never wavered... Oasis may never get back together but that didn’t stop Liam Gallagher from giving the people what they want: the band’s biggest hits.”
Gallagher announced the forthcoming album earlier this month, when he also shared a video recording of song Roll It Over from Oasis’ 2000 album Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants.
KOKO, a icon of Camden High Street, has undergone a major £70 million restoration, which was in motion even before a fire broke out in the building in January 2020.
The legendary venue, which has hosted acts such as The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse over the years, is one of London’s best-known music spots. Since its relauch KOKO has welcomed artists including Stormzy, Nas, Lil Simz, Arcade Fire and Central Cee to its stage.
After his KOKO gig, Gallagher will play an exclusive headline set at Boardmasters festival in Cornwall in August.
