Liam Gallagher has thanked the nurses who helped him recover from hip surgery hinting that he needs to be back walking with a swagger ahead of a rumoured Oasis reunion.
The rock icon, 50, took to Twitter to give fans an update on the recent operation amid rumours he was planning on burying the hatchet with his brother Noel, 55.
Addressing his fans in his unique style, Liam said: “Morning Rastas so I had my Hip operation last wk all went well and RESPEK [respect] to all the doctors n nurses who looked after me (sic).
“Big shout out to the A team for getting us home safe n sound you know who you are and Florence guru I love and adore you Riverdance here I come LG x”
One fan asked: “I hope the operation hasn’t affected your swagger!!”
The Wonderwall singer joked back: “I’m getting my physio to study old videos of my walk so we don’t miss a trick the comeback is real.”
Another fan ribbed the front man, replying: “Getting old now lad.”
He hit back quickly: “No way man I’m half new.”
The siblings have have barely spoken since a huge backstage bust-up ended their band Oasis, in August 2009,
Since the super-group disbanded, Liam started band Beady Eye before launching his solo career in 2017 with album As You Were, while Noel has enjoyed much success with his band, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, since 2010.
