Rock star and Manchester City fan Liam Gallagher has delivered his verdict on his team’s draw against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
The Reds secured what could be a vital point in the race for Premier League survival at the end of the season, coming back from 1-0 down to earn a 1-1 draw at the City Ground.
Chris Wood was on hand to poke the ball in at the back post with just six minutes of the game left to play after Bernardo Silva’s opener in the 41st minute. The goal was Forest’s only shot on target, and just their fourth shot of the game.

The point moved the Reds back up above fellow midlands side Leicester City in the table. Forest now sit in 13th place in the league, five points above West Ham in the final relegation position.
Wood’s equaliser was one of the moments to remember at the City Ground so far this season, with the goal celebrated wildly in the stands as Forest took an unlikely point. It also has implications for the title race, with City now two points behind Arsenal at the top of the table after the Gunners’ late win against Aston Villa.
In a reply to a Forest fan on social media asking what happened to "Citeh" at the weekend, former Oasis frontman Gallagher posted a gracious verdict, saying that the away point is not to be sniffed at. He also described Steve Cooper’s Forest team as "defiant".
“Good point that away from home against a defiant Forest,” he wrote, alongside a tree emoji.
Man City are back in action this week as they return to Champions League action. The reigning Premier League champions take on Red Bull Leipzig away in the first leg of their round of 16 tie on Wednesday night before facing Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium at the weekend.
