A man has been arrested following a stabbing in Lewisham.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at about 10.25pm on Wednesday to reports of a man stabbed on Lewisham High Street.
Officers attended and a 24-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Met Police said they are waiting for an update on his condition.
The force added that a 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
A crime scene remains in place.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.18pm to reports of an incident in Lewisham High Street, SE13.
“We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
“The first of our crews arrived in four minutes.
“Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.”
