Bologna boss Thiago Motta has claimed Scotland star Lewis Ferguson is an "example to everyone' as he continued his Serie A scoring streak.
The former Aberdeen midfielder was linked to a shock move to Juventus last week after impressing for Bologna following his £3million move in the summer, and continued to show his best form to the Turin giants with a with a superb strike in their weekend's 3-0 win against Sassuolo.
After netting his third goal of the season Bologna manager Motta, who has played at the highest level for the likes of Barcelona, Inter Milan and PSG, singled the Scot out for praise before he links up wit Steve Clarke 's international side to face off against Turkey. Motta said: "Lewis is a really interesting guy, he knows how to cover every blade of grass on the pitch very well. He is a fantastic player, he applies himself well and looks at his teammates to adapt.
"He is an example for everyone and he already speaks Italian quite well. Of course, he can always improve, a lot of the guys are young and have quality.
"They are working well and have created a solid group. We will always try to raise the bar."
