Tickets for Lewis Capaldi's 2023 tour have sold out. It took seconds for all shows across the UK to sell out on Ticketmaster and See Tickets according to the Glaswegian artist.
Fans had the chance to grab tickets from 9am today for Capaldi's Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent 2023 tour. Thousands joined the waiting rooms and online queues on both ticket sites but within seconds many of the shows had reached full capacity.
Capaldi himself tweeted at 9.20am on Friday (October 28): "Entire UK tour sold out in a single second at 9am, completely lost for words, thank you all so so so much."
General sale tickets were made available from 9am today (October 28) which included the Manchester show at the AO Arena. Fans could join the waiting rooms 15 minutes before the on-sale time on both ticketing sites and demand was extremely high for all shows. Ticket prices for the Manchester date started from £47.95 on Ticketmaster.
The cheaper price came after Capaldi promised fans he would keep his ticket prices as affordable as possible for all fans. The Manchester performance, which will take place on Wednesday, January 18 at the AO Arena is priced from £47.95.
Standing tickets were priced at £59 each, seated tickets for the arena were priced between £47.95 and £70.50 depending on the location available in the arena.
Capaldi's new single 'Forgive Me' is now silver certified, and approaching 100 million streams globally. The second album is said to be a 'simple but potent' idea with 'no bells, whistles, or starry featured vocalists'.
Speaking about the new album, Lewis Capaldi said: "I don't want to create a new sound for myself, or reinvent myself, the songs I want to write are emotional songs, about love or loss."
