But as fans make their way to the east end of the city for more singing and dancing, one headline act made his way to the opposite end of the city ahead of his TRNSMT appearance.
Taking to Instagram, Glasgow's award-winning restaurant La Lanterna, located in the west end, snapped a picture with the Scottish icon.
Writing in their caption they said: "@lewiscapaldi was missing on our list of celebrity guests - until last night! Now he's off to headline @trnsmtfest this evening!"
The much-loved eatery is a hit with fans of Italian food across the city and it seems it's a local hot spot for celebrities too with TV and radio host, Ross King, having just recently dined there only a few days ago.
Having just performed in Malta at the weekend, the 25-year-old will take to the main stage later today with the 'Someone You Loved' singer set to start his performance at 9:20pm and ending the gig just before 11pm.
