Lewis Capaldi is gearing up for his big comeback later this year after reportedly shooting a new music video.
The Scots star announced he would be taking a hiatus in March 2021 to focus on his second album, and has remained largely out of the spotlight since.
The Someone You Loved singer previously admitted he couldn't wait to release his second album, as he is set to headline TRNSMT festival in Glasgow this summer.
The 25-year-old will likely be preparing new music ahead of his summer gigs as well as belting out some of his well-known anthems.
Lewis reportedly shot the video for his brand new track on Friday at Windsor’s Theatre Royal with over 100 cast and crew.
A source told The Sun : “The eclectic, surreal shoot was top secret, but there was a lot of excitement around the theatre as it’s a big comeback moment for Lewis. Fans can expect a spectacle."
The source added: “He’s buzzing for fans to hear his new song, but it won’t be released for a few months now.”
Lewis hasn't posted on his Instagram since he postponed all of his gigs for last year, telling fans he was "terrified" about creating a follow up album to his number one hit.
He wrote: “I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been terrified about making my next album since the moment I finished Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.
“I’ve been writing loads of tunes and I can’t wait for you to hear them.”
