Lewis Capaldi has put down a fan on Twitter who claimed his keyboard player mouthed a rude comment towards the TV cameras at the National Television Awards.
After a user took to the social media platform to rant about the alleged incident, Lewis snapped back in mock outrage saying that he would "have a word" with his bandmate.
A third tweet from Lewis showed the West Lothian chart-topper holding up his middle finger to the keyboard player in his attempt to bury the hatchet after the comments made about him.

The original tweet read: "Lewis Capaldi's Keyboard player just Mouthed f*** off at the camera man!! What an unprofessional little turd," to which Lewis replied: "I agree Pete, totally unacceptable, will be having words. Thanks for bringing it to my attention."
As many who know the singer may have guessed, his usual sarcastic tone was evident from the response as he didn't read too much until the disgruntled user.
An image of Lewis holding up the middle finger to his keyboard player while in the back of a car was then posted, with the caption: "This one’s for you Pete brother," in response to the initial tweet.
The 26-year-old singer from West Lothian recently released his first song in three years following a break from the industry for health and personal reasons. However, since returning, he has left fans in stitches while re-creating a famous Wham! music video for his new song Forget Me.
Lewis also had the pleasure of performing the hit on stage at the prestigious TV awards on Thursday night at the OVO Wembley arena in London.
