Lewis Capaldi offered Lorraine Kelly "seven inches of me" live on TV - leaving viewers in stitches.
The chart-topping singer appeared on Lorraine yesterday morning and left the show's host extremely red-faced.
His appearance went down a treat on social media, with viewers saying it was the funniest thing they have ever seen on breakfast telly.
The Someone You Loved musician from Scotland showed off his wicked sense of humour as he threw an innuendo at Lorraine live on-air.
Lewis was promoting his new single 'Forget Me', which saw him strip to his underwear in another PR stunt, when he joked with the award-winning presenter.
He was handing the vinyl record to Lorraine when he quipped "it's seven inches of me".
Following up the joke, he quickly said: "There you go, my seven inch... record. Sorry.
"Yeah that's actually a Bastille record that's inside it so please don't open it, that's a mistake on our part," he joked.
Seeing the funny side, Lorraine appreciated his gift and said: "I love vinyl," and then thanked him for "lifting the nation's spirits".
Viewers took to Twitter after watching the hilarious exchange, with one saying: "He certainly brightened my morning."
Another agreed, saying: "Fecking Brilliant and he looked Minted on Lorraine this morning."
A third added: "Lorraine will be hesitant from now on when accepting gifts from singer Lewis Capaldi." And a fourth wrote: "@LewisCapaldi offering Lorraine "7 inches of him" is the funniest thing av ever seen."
Lorraine also penned a message to Lewis on Twitter, saying: "Dearest @LewisCapaldi - thank you for being such a great guest today.
"You cheered us all up. I think you are a fabulous fella as well as being a brilliant singer songwriter."
It comes after the 25-year-old said he will quit showbiz if his new music fails to set the charts alight.
He said: "If it flops you can pursue a career as a comedian? No, I won’t. If it flops I will retire from public life. I’ll be like John Deacon in Queen. No one’s heard of that c*** in ages.
"There’s me, a man who, let’s not beat around the bush, has accumulated a wealth already, and now I’m asking you to give me more of that, please, during a cost-of-living crisis."
"I’m aware of how f***ing mental that is. But unfortunately it’s the game we play," Lewis candidly added when speaking with The Sun.
Lewis' debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent was in the Top 10 for a record 77 consecutive weeks following its release in 2019, and his first ever single Someone You Loved propelled the Scottish star to international fame the year prior to the album's release.
