Local fans of Someone You Loved star Lewis Capaldi are in with a chance to bag early tickets to next year's Newcastle show but they will need to be quick - and be prepared to buy his new album.
The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter will be stopping off in the city in January on his newly-announced UK and European tour and first tickets will be available this Wednesday. News of the 31-date tour generated huge excitement when it was announced last week and the city's Utilita Arena is to be the fifth stop-off on its UK leg on January 21.
Tickets, which are set to be in high demand, will be released for pre-sale at 9am this Wednesday - before going on general sale on Friday - but fans who want to be in among the first with a chance of booking have until just 4pm this Tuesday to qualify. And they also need to buy Capaldi's upcoming new album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent.
