Many people have tried and failed miserably to do an Irish accent in front of a camera - Wild Mountain Thyme is still burnt into the back of our brains.
One man who seemingly can nail the brogue is Lewis Capaldi.
Even weirder than that is that one of his go-to phrases when speaking with an Irish accent came from the mouth of Maura Higgins.
The accent attempt featured in the documentary the Scottish superstar filmed with best pal Niall Horan entitled Niall Horan, Homecoming: The Road to Mullingar.
Longford native Maura shot to fame on Love Island for a number of one-liners, including one involving fellow contestants Amy Hart and Lucie Donlon.
Amy had asked Lucie whether Curtis Prichard loved her - but Maura jumped in with an iconic "What are you asking her that for? He doesn't."
Lewis opted to recreate the moment on the road trip with Niall after the former One Direction singer had urged him to do a Dublin or Irish accent.
"You mad thing, go on you good thing! That's good that." Lewis replied, in a pretty decent effort.
"What are you asking her that for?! HE DOESN'T!" he added, before being informed that Maura would've grown up around 10 minutes away from where the duo were driving at the time.
