Lewis Capaldi fans have been warned against turning up for his sold-out Glasgow gig with certain tickets.
The West Lothian star is due to perform in Glasgow tonight for his sold-out gig at the OVO Hydro. However, the venue has shared a warning against fake tickets purchased on Eventbrite.
Gigs In Scotland stated that any tickets purchased through Eventbrite - an online ticketing website - are not valid and ticketholders will not be allowed into the show tonight.
"Any customer who has obtained tickets via Eventbrite should not attend as they are not valid tickets. Eventbrite were not an official ticket outlet for this event - only @TicketmasterUK...," It wrote on Twitter.
The OVO Hydro reshared the tweet across its social media channels to ensure fans will not be disappointed on the door tonight.
Lewis, 26, has been embarking on his UK tour over the last few weeks and some fans have already fallen victim to fake tickets.
The cheeky crooner took to the stage in Aberdeen on Monday night as part of his Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent 2023 tour. The event was the highest-selling indoor show in Scotland's history last night as he wrote on Instagram.
Fans took to Twitter to vent their frustrations about fake tickets for the Bruises singers gig, although they did not specify where the tickets came from.
One said: "@LewisCapaldi hi, sooooo disappointed that we didn’t get to see you. I bought tickets from a friend and the tickets ended up being fake. Really disappointed . Work at the childrens hospital in Aberdeen and was so looking forward to seeing you."
This comes after Lewis assured fans he was 'absolutely fine' after a video of him twitching on stage went viral last week. Addressing the video he said: "Hello it's Lewis here. I've seen this video here doing the rounds on TikTok and I see a lot of people in the comments concerned because I'm twitching quite a lot."
Mimicking his shoulder twitch, which he has admitted to having Botox injections to help, Lewis added: "I'm doing this quite a lot and look a bit uncomfortable. I've got Tourette's so I'm just twitching quite a bit but it's not an issue in the slightest. I'm absolutely fine.
"It's just that this happens when I get tired, nervous, excited or whatever so it just gets more intense. I'm not doing it now at all because I'm lying in my bed in my pants but this [gesturing to the original video] is at the end of an hour and a half gig and I'm singing in front of 15,000 people.
"So I'm tired and I'm very excited because this whole arena is singing my songs back to me but I'm fine. Thanks to everyone who came to the gig that night. It was incredible."
