Lewis Capaldi shared a sweet message to Gatehouse of Fleet residents ahead of their upcoming Gala Week as he enjoys a peaceful holiday.
The Scots singer, 26, took a trip to the scenic Scots town in the south with his family over the weekend, where he took photos and chatted away to locals. Lewis even stopped in at the popular coffee shop Galloway Lodge and issued a sweet message to his fans down in Dumfries and Galloway.
Holding a box of treats, Lewis said: "Hello everybody it's Lewis here, just wanted to say I hope everyone at Gatehouse of Fleet has an amazing gala week. Enjoy it!"
Re-sharing the video on Facebook, Galloway Lodge penned: "Great to have Lewis Capaldi in today. Think he was desperate to get on with eating the treat in his hand!!!"
This comes after Lewis penned a lengthy and emotional statement recently, announcing he would be taking a break from live performances to protect his mental health until Glastonbury.
The West Lothian singer told fans he needed to take time out to recover from a gruelling tour and promotional schedule, following the release of his new album. "Hi everyone, hope you're well," he addressed fans on Instagram.
"This is a really difficult message and one that hurts me a lot to have to type, but I'm really sorry to say that I am going to have to cancel all commitments from now until I play Glastonbury on June 24. It's been such an incredible time leading into this new album, and seeing all the support from everyone has been beyond I could have ever dreamed of."
He explained: "That said, the last few months have been full on both mentally and physically, I haven't been home properly since Christmas and at the moment I am struggling to get to grips with it all.
"I need to take a moment to rest and recover, to be at my best and ready for Glastonbury, and all of the other incredible shows coming up so that I'm able to continue doing what I love for a long time to come.
"I need to take these three weeks to be Lewis from Glasgow for a bit, spend some time with my family and friends and do normal life things that are an important part of me feeling better. I hope everyone understands."
