Lewis Capaldi delighted fans during his headline show at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee on Sunday night as he performed a rendition of Taylor Swift's popular hit 'Love Story'.
Around 85,000 revellers descended on Camperdown Park in Dundee over the weekend to hear a variety of chart-topping acts take to the stage, with the Someone You Loved singer closing off the three-day event.
Before his big performance, fans were left gushing over his and pal Niall Horan's "sweet" friendship, as the 26-year-old Scots singer leapt on stage during Niall's set to give him a hug.
And when it was his turn to take to the stage, Lewis delighted the crowd with a setlist which included some of his older and most loved tracks.
But Lewis a surprise for fans when he began an impromptu performance of Love Story by American superstar Swift.
Fans took to social media to rave about Capaldi's performance.
"Lewis capaldi signing love story at big weekend sent me," wrote one fan attending, whilst another added: "Adore this man so much...a humble talented bloke x"
Someone else joked: "lewis capaldi getting the crowd to sing love story i can never escape."
"LEWIS CAPALDI JUST SANG LOVE STORY," gushed another fan in the crowd on Sunday night.
One fan said as they wrote to Lewis following his performance: "Im so incredibly proud of you, watching you headline on of the biggest festivals is making me love you more than i thought i could.
"You're so inspirational. hearing the crowd sing along makes me emotional. Lewis I love you with all my heart. I'm so proud of you <3"
