Someone You Loved hitmaker Lewis has been working on his second album for the last two years and he says he's now at a point where he is getting ready to unleash it on the public.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Record after we bumped into him following a session spent refining his sounds, he echoed his fans' sentiments about his long-awaited fresh tunes and he is excited to get them out there.
Lewis, 25, said: "I have been busy in the studio and everything is getting into a bit more shape.
"I can't wait to get the songs out now and release my new music. It's been a long wait for everyone."
The Scots star also said he'd been enjoying spending some time in his new farmhouse and added: "I'm getting a lot of work done to it just now. It's getting renovated, but I'm really enjoying living there."
Lewis is having a swimming pool, gym spa and sauna added to his home in East Renfrewshire alongside a media room, home cinema and expanded master bedroom as well as other bedrooms and a kitchen renovation.
The singing and songwriting talent has been working on his album with One Republic star Ryan Tedder who has written hit ballads for Adele and Beyonce.
He can't wait to play TRNSMT in July when Paolo Nutini will also play.
The two lads will be releasing their new material around the same time meaning a double whammy for Scots music fans.
