Lewis Capaldi has announced he will be releasing his new album in-store at Glasgow Argyle Street HMV store. The 26-year-old Scots superstar released tickets to the intimate sitting on Thursday through his Instagram account.
Unsurprisingly for fans, the tickets sold out 'almost instantly' with the singer taking to his stories and, as always, he made a rather hilarious but very inappropriate joke. He wrote: "all done in under a second. much like my love making x"
Lewis also delighted Edinburgh fans promising that they would receive a similar experience.
Again, taking to Instagram, he wrote: "EDINBURGH am working on something which i should be announcing today. will be a v short notice announcement to on s-ale like the glasgow one so keep checking back xox"
The show comes in addition to the previously announced ‘Behind The Music’ shows with independent record stores around the country.
Lewis second album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, will be released next Friday, May 19.
It comes after the news that Lewis is set to appear on the hugely popular YouTube series Chicken Shop Date with Amelia Dimoldenberg.
The West Lothian singer was interviewed by Amelia, 29, in Glasgow chippy chain Blue Lagoon while she visited the city. Sharing the exciting news on social media, she penned: Had a great time in Glasgow. My date with @lewiscapaldi is out on FRIDAY."
The Chicken Shop Date format sees Amelia quiz her celebrity guests in her awkward and dead-pan style while they eat fried chicken sitting in a restaurant.
The internet sensation teased her 'date' with the Bruises singer on social media as she stood outside the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow.
Lewis Capaldi's Netflix documentary How I'm Feeling Now is now available to stream on Netflix.
