Moises Caicedo’s agent has revealed the player will “listen” to offers from other clubs this summer.
It is understood that the Brighton midfielder views his future away from the south coast despite a stellar campaign under Roberto De Zerbi. At just 21, Caicedo was instrumental in helping the Seagulls qualify for European football for the first time in their history.
Liverpool have already raided Brighton for World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister and are one of several clubs linked with his former team-mate. Chelsea, however, are said to to be the frontrunners.
Amid reported interest from Arsenal, Caicedo penned an open message earlier this year hoping to force a move.
"I am grateful to Mr. Bloom (Tony Bloom, the club's owner) and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them,” he shared in January. “I always play football with a smile and with heart.

"I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream has always been to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador. I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.
"The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity.”
It now appears that Caicedo’s desire to leave has not wavered, regardless of Brighton playing in Europe next year and regardless of signing a new contract in March. But the Seagulls are known to drive a hard bargain but rarely step in their players’ way should a more established club swoop in.
Speaking to SussexWorld, the Ecuadorian’s agent, Manuel Sierra, issued a seven-word plea to clubs hoping to sign his client. When asked for an update on Caicedo’s future, he said: “Let’s see (what happens). We are open to listening (to offers).”
The report adds that Sierra's client "values the Champions League highly but has admitted the player will respond to all contact that comes in, regardless of European qualification"..
