Let’s Rock Leeds: The Retro Festival is returning to Temple Newsam and we have all the important info you need to enjoy the big 80s party.

Joyously cheesy and determined to deliver lots of fun for everyone, Let’s Rock, has become a firm favourite on the Leeds summer festival calendar. This year, it is taking place at Temple Newsam on Saturday, June 25.

Since launching in 2008 with a solitary festival at Cookham Moor, in Berkshire, Let’s Rock has grown into a major festival series with events all over the country. Many artists have acknowledged it has helped relaunch and revitalise their careers.

Some of the big acts playing in 2022 include Billy Ocean and Wet Wet Wet. Looking ahead of the event, Graeme Clark, from Wet Wet Wet, said: “Let’s Rock was our first gig back after locking down started, we were in uncertain times then. It’s always special to be able to play music to a crowd, but this was extra special as it was our first attended gig for a couple of years so the emotions were running high. Combine that with the crowd, emotive music and the feelings can be overwhelming.”
