Leona Maguire is just two shots off the lead after the opening round of the €1.6m Honda LPGA Thailand at Siam Country Club.
The Cavan native shot an opening round 67 and sits on five-under par on the leaderboard, two shots behind the five joint-leaders of Jaravee Boonchant, Nasa Hataoka, Anna Nordqvist, Xiyu Lin and Jennifer Kupcho.
Maguire's round began with six consecutive pars before three birdies in the next four holes, with further birdies following on the 15th and 18th in a bogey-free round.
A trio of players are also one shot ahead of the world number 11 on six-under-par, while she is joined on five-under by six others.
