Outgoing Leon Balgoun has been hailed as a Rangers dressing room leader following his Ibrox exit.

The 33-year-old's contract is up this summer and the club have confirmed he will not be extending his two-year stint in the Premiership.

The Nigeria international brought the curtain down on his time at Ibrox with a Scottish Cup winners medal, having lifted the Premiership title in his previous season.
