Leo was 'robbed' of a final farewell after arsonists burnt down his barbershop

Before his business was charred by arsonists this month, Leo Leu's Dickson barbershop was more than a place for a haircut.

To him, Most Valuable Barber (MVB) on Challis Street was a sanctuary for mentorship, community service and the realisation of a long-held personal dream.

Owner Leo Leu, surrounded by the aftermath of a fire at Most Valuable Barber, holds a burnt frame containing a photo of his garage set-up where he first began barbering and a pair of boots signed by an athelete client which were damaged in the fire. Picture by Karleen Minney
