Lenny Kravitz has been making waves in the music industry lately. The singer-songwriter has been actively promoting the movie Rustin, which featured one of his songs that was in contention for an Oscar nomination. Kravitz's efforts have not gone unnoticed, as he has received special honors, including recognition from the Recording Academy, leading to increased visibility for the legendary rocker.
As a result of the heightened attention, Kravitz's music has experienced a surge in popularity, propelling him back onto the Billboard charts. This week, he debuts two tracks on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart, which ranks the top-selling rock tracks in the United States as classified by Billboard.
One of Kravitz's new entries, 'It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over,' secures the 10th spot on the chart. Additionally, his song 'Fly Away' makes its debut at No. 15. Notably, 'It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over' marks only the second top 10 hit of Kravitz's career on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart, with his previous achievement being 'Calling All Angels,' which peaked at No. 3 in March 2023.
With these latest additions, Kravitz now boasts a total of six tracks on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart. Despite the list now comprising only 15 positions, half of Kravitz's songs that have previously charted did so when the ranking was longer, with some peaking below the current No. 15 threshold.
Kravitz's two new entries are the sole debuts on this week's rock sales chart, with six other tracks making a return. Notable comebacks include singles from Stephen Sanchez ('Until I Found You' at No. 3), AC/DC ('Thunderstruck' at No. 11), and Disturbed ('The Sound of Silence' at No. 13), among others.
