Neil Lennon says Celtic were "battered" by Rangers as he accused them of being "outworked" by their rivals.
The Hoops were well beaten by their old foes at Parkhead and the performance left plenty to be desired despite playing in front of a packed out house of only home fans.
The frustration with every misplaced pass was clear while the lack of fight was also obvious at times with Gers running over the top of the hosts at times.
For Lennon, his old club were "outworked" and the former boss at Lennoxtown admits that is one of the accusations no football club want to have levelled against them.
"We can't argue with anything here. Kris (Boyd) called it and the boys in commentary called it, Rangers were the far superior team," Lennon said during commentary duties for Sky Sports.
"Not just in physical attributes and running, but they played all the football.
"I thought Celtic were a lot better than they had been in the first half, without being brilliant. Second half was totally disjointed, totally outplayed, outworked - which is something that is the worst thing that you can label a team.
"No quality, no thought. Hope rather than expectation with the way they're playing. Absolutely battered today."
