Leigh-Anne Pinnock closed out Di Petsa's Spring/Summer 2027 show at London Fashion Week on September 21, becoming the pregnant former Little Mix singer's runway debut and one of the most talked-about moments of the week. Pinnock, who is expecting her third child with husband Andre Gray, walked the finale of the Greek label's "Holy Milk" collection in a white bra and matching trousers, her bare bump highlighted with illuminated body makeup, gold jewelry and a gauze cape trailing behind her as she walked with her arms outstretched.
The bra itself was the show's centerpiece. Designed by Dimitra Petsa, who founded Di Petsa after graduating from Central Saint Martins and has long built collections around themes of female wetness and the body, the garment was built to release streams of white liquid meant to evoke breast milk, spraying onto two models seated at Pinnock's feet as she stood at the end of the runway. She finished the look with painted-on tears running down her face and a wet-look hairstyle, walking barefoot.

In a press release, Di Petsa described the piece as central to the collection's message: "Among the presentation's defining pieces is a sculptural lactating bra, which releases streams of milk during the performance. The piece creates a striking commentary on motherhood, the body and care as spectacle, placing an intimate act within the highly constructed world of the fashion runway." The wider SS27 collection was built around pregnancy, motherhood and the relationship between women and their bodies, themes consistent with Di Petsa's design history.
Pinnock, 34, announced her pregnancy on Instagram on July 8, writing "As one chapter ends, another begins." She and Gray, who married in 2023, are already parents to twin daughters born in August 2021. By early September, Pinnock had confirmed she was in her third trimester, posting that the pregnancy was "going super quick" and that she and Gray were preparing for their baby's arrival. Ahead of the Di Petsa show, she teased the appearance on Instagram, telling fans she was about to check something "very special" off her bucket list.

The runway moment split opinion once footage circulated. Some praised the imagery as an empowering statement on pregnancy and the body, while others criticized the milk-spraying concept as an overly theatrical treatment of breastfeeding. Pinnock addressed the reaction directly in a follow-up Instagram post, writing that she felt "completely, unapologetically WOMAN" on the runway and pushing back on the idea that pregnant bodies should be concealed. "My body is not something to be ashamed of because it is changing, it's not less beautiful because it is carrying life," she wrote, adding that the experience of standing on the runway pregnant and visible, rather than covered up, was "one of the most empowering experiences of my life."
The appearance marks Pinnock's first runway show and adds to a year in which she has stepped further into fashion and solo work outside Little Mix, following the release of her debut album earlier in 2026. Di Petsa, meanwhile, continues to build a reputation on London's fashion week schedule for provocative, body-focused presentations that generate conversation well beyond the runway itself.
