Legoland announces brand new attraction for 2022 - and shares a sneak peek

Legoland Windsor is opening a brand new attraction for 2022 - and the theme park has offered a sneak peek of what will be on offer for families.

Judging by the renderings released by the resort, new attraction 'The Brick' is going to be a hit with kids who can't get enough of building Lego creations.

That's because the new attraction will feature a large room lined with counters which are filled with Lego bricks - meaning children can let their imagination run wild as they build all sorts of fun creatures, vehicles and more.

Oh, and to offer a source of inspiration, there will also be some eye-catching Lego creations dotted around the shelves and tables such as dinosaurs, unicorns and clowns - you could even have a go at copying them!

According to a teaser on the Legoland website, there will actually be 100,000s of Lego bricks for families to play with, as they have a go at becoming a master Lego Builder.

The theme park hasn't yet confirmed an exact opening date for the attraction, although it has said that it will be open by spring 2022. (There's more good news too, as there are plenty of Legoland ticket deals on offer if you are planning a visit).

Of course it's not the only new addition to the resort for families to get excited about.

Last year, the theme park unveiled one of its biggest additions yet in the form of brand new land MYTHICA: World of Mythical Creatures which included three new rides.

One highlight of the new multi-million pound land has to be the Flight of the Sky Lion, the UK's first flying theatre ride where families fly through a parallel universe filled with mythical creatures.

Other rides also include two drop towers named Fire and Ice Freefall - which stand at 13m tall - as well as the Hydra's Challenge water attraction.

Legoland isn't the only theme park to be offering families a new attraction for 2022; other popular UK theme parks such as Alton Towers and Paultons Park have also unveiled new rides this year.
