NEW DELHI: The organisers revealed on Thursday that the second edition of Legends League Cricket (LLC) is scheduled to take place in India, commencing from November 18 and concluding on December 9.
The inaugural season of LLC concluded in October of the previous year, with India Capitals emerging as the victors.
"The forthcoming franchise season of Legends League Cricket would certainly add to the flavour with top legends of the sport descending into India," the organisers said in a statement.
The upcoming season of the tournament is set to explore new venues as per the organisers' plans.
Notable cricketers like Suresh Raina, Aaron Finch, Hashim Amla, Ross Taylor and Chris Gayle, among others, showcased their talents in the inaugural edition of LLC.
Ravi Shastri, the commissioner of LLC, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We're ready for the challenge; world-class competitive cricket is a perpetual delight. With the addition of more legendary players, the on-field excitement is bound to escalate."
"We expect to make the league one of the best experiences for the fans and cricketing fraternity in this category. The league is experiencing significant growth and positive changes, season on season."
