Akira Toriyama, popularly known as Manga creator, passed away at the age of 68. He was suffering from acute subdural hematoma. As per the statement released on X through the official account of the Dragon Ball franchise, he had passed away on March 1.
"We are deeply saddened to inform you that Manga creator Akira Toriyama passed away on March 1st due to acute subdural hematoma. It's our deep regret that he still had several works in the middle of creation with great enthusiasm," the statement attributed to Toriyama's Bird Studio said.
