Leeds is set to have an unsettled and chilly Wednesday but looks likely to avoid the heavier wintry showers falling elsewhere in Yorkshire.
It will be a cold start with a 'feel like temperature' of -1 at 7am and clear skies around sunrise. Air temperatures are set to rise slowly from 3C to a high of 8C at 12 noon.
Showers will arrive in the city at around 1pm with a chance of some hail hitting the area until around 2pm. The remainder of the day is set to be wet until around 5pm when intermittent showers will give way to an overcast night.
