The weather on Tuesday is expected to deliver some sunshine that has been missed in Leeds following brief spells of wintery conditions and fears of a polar vortex.
Leeds will start off cloudy but change to sunny intervals by lunchtime. Temperatures are expected to be at a maximum of 9C or slightly lower in coastal areas.
The mornings will have some fog and mist, a blow over from cold and wet conditions from Monday evening. But these should clear pretty quickly.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Overnight frost and fog will gradually lift on Tuesday morning to leave another fine day. There will be plenty of sunshine during the morning, with clouds increasing later. Maximum temperature 8 °C."
