The sun should rise fairly early in Leeds and temperatures will begin to climb in two degree increments by the hour. The city should see one its warmest days though the heat will fall just a degree short of being classified as extreme.
Maximum temperatures will be realised by 3pm and continue till 6pm. With fairly high humidity, that afternoon period should be a trial run for coping with the heatwave which is scheduled to start in Leeds on Thursday.

Like most of Yorkshire, the Met Office says, Leeds will have early mist which should clear quickly: "Any early mist or fog clearing quickly to leave another warm and dry day with unbroken sunshine for many. Once again coastal areas feeling somewhat cooler with an onshore breeze. Maximum temperature 30 °C."
A health warming has been issued and the heat is expected to continue rising and peak during the weekend. Leeds will have an Amber warning starting from Thursday, so the temperatures on Wednesday could help preparations for another hot spell.
