Leeds United Women were unable to pull off an shock FA Cup upset this afternoon as they bowed out of the competition following their 9-0 loss to Arsenal Women at Meadow Park.
The Phoenix, who play in the fourth tier of English women's football in the FA Women's National League Division One North, were up against arguably the toughest opponents in the country with the Gunners sat in third in the Women's Super League.
And it didn't take their opponents long to find the back of the net as Australian international Caitlin Foord slotted past goalkeeper Carrie Simpson after just 10 minutes.

Arsenal's newest full debutant Kathrine Møller Kühl found her first goal for the club - and Arsenal's second - just three minutes later before Kim Little fired home their third from the penalty spot.
After a round of halftime substitutions, it was Lina Hurtig that found Arsenal's fourth with a nice finish all but confirming the end of Leeds' run in the competition after 18 second-half minutes.
Two goals in two minutes did seal the tie off completely though, as Jen Beattie and Stina Blackstenius combined to make it 6-0 after 72 minutes played.
Blackstenius found her second of the match three minutes after her first to make it 7-0 before Michelle Agyemang and Victoria Pelova made it 9-0 in the 80th and 83rd minute respectively.
Leeds' time in the competition did provide some memorable results however, with a win on penalties over Brighouse Town Women in the first round followed by a 7-2 thrashing of Redcar Town Women and a 3-1 win over third-tier side Stoke City Women.
Rick Passmoor's side will now turn their focus onto hosting Merseyrail, who are second-bottom in the Division One North, in two weeks time.
