Harry Christy: Had absolutely nothing to do for much of the game before being being forced into action in stoppage time to make a routine save. 6
Cody Drameh: Linked up really well with Charlie Allen down the right side, overlapping on occasions and giving Tom Curl nightmares. Great work to set up Joseph's hat-trick goal. 8
Harvey Sutcliffe: The left-back was a strong presence in the backline. He won his duels and certainly looked comfortable in the role. 7

Morten Spencer: A classy first showing of the season in the U21s. He wasn’t exactly tested, but he was composed on the ball and dealt with everything Stoke threw his way. 8
Kris Moore: Like Spencer alongside him, he didn’t have too much to do and he handled everything that crossed his path. 7
Darko Gyabi: Controlled the middle of the park and looked to get Leeds moving in attack. A joy to watch with the ball at his feet. 7
Charlie Allen: A huge threat down the right for Leeds, combining well with Drameh and creating a number of chances. 8
Alfie McCalmont: Steady away in the middle of the park. Got stuck in and made life difficult for Stoke. 7
Mateo Joseph: Bagged two first-half goals to get Leeds up and running and he never stopped looking for a third. He eventually got it in the final 10 minutes, lashing the ball home in emphatic fashion. 9
Sonny Perkins: Stretched his goalscoring run to nine games for club and country with another strike in a Leeds shirt. He had chances to score another couple, but had to make do with the one. 8
Sean McGurk: Found plenty of joy with the ball at his feet after establishing early that he had the beating of his man. Created chances and looked a threat off the left wing. 8
Max Dean: Worked hard and managed to get a couple of shots away. 7
Amari Miller: Struggled to get into the game after replacing McGurk but had a couple of nice moments. 7
Joe Snowdon: Couldn’t really make much of an impact on the contest. 6
Unused subs: Will Brook, Cian Coleman
