Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Tuesday, April 5.
Leeds set to miss out on Ajax defender
As Luke Ayling moves into the latter stage of his career, the right-back position is said to be one that Leeds are looking to strengthen with competition for the 30-year-old high on the transfer agenda. Noussair Mazraoui, whose Ajax contract is set to expire in the summer, was a reported target for the Whites.
However, it looks as though Victor Orta and co will have to turn their attention elsewhere as the Morocco international is on the verge of agreeing a move to Bayern Munich, according to TUTTOmercatoWEB in Italy. Several Serie A clubs were monitoring his situation as well as Barcelona and Arsenal which would have made negotiations extremely difficult for Leeds anyway.

Leeds drawing up plans for new striker
Patrick Bamford has endured a nightmare season for Leeds this season as his endless list of injuries have limited him to just nine Premier League appearances. Despite the emergence of Joe Gelhardt, Dan James has often deputised in the striker position but has struggled to replicate Bamford’s impact.
While the England striker is likely to remain first choice at Elland Road, the club are planning to invest in another striker in the summer, as per a report by the Daily Mail. Preparations for another potentially frustrating campaign for Bamford are important as everyone at the club is well aware that there is not enough firepower in the team when he is not available.
Cardiff lining up extension offer for Drameh
Since moving to Cardiff for the second half of the season, Cody Drameh has been a smash hit in South Wales. He has stood out as one of the Bluebirds' best players and, according to WhoScored.com’s ratings, only Aden Flint has had a better season for the club.
Jesse Marsch will almost definitely want to take a look at the 20-year-old upon his return to Leeds in pre-season and he may well want to use him as a regular part of the squad. However, he might also feel as though another loan move would be beneficial and WalesOnline have claimed Steve Morison would want to arrange a season-long loan if the opportunity presented itself.
