Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Wednesday, 27 July.
Leeds 'made Nunes inquiry'
Leeds United reportedly made an inquiry recently over Sporting Club de Portugal midfielder Matheus Nunes, according to Record, via Sport Witness. They claim that the Whites were watching him throughout last season and are one of several clubs alongside Wolves, Bayern Munich, Everton, Newcastle United, Real Madrid and Barcelona interested in him.
Sporting quoted Leeds with a price of €50 million and given Leeds’ pressing priority for an attacker rather than midfielder, it seems unlikely they will press ahead with a deal. In fact, Record state that the most likely outcome is that Nunes remains in Portugal for another season.
Still no Milan CDK agreement
AC Milan and Club Brugge held another fruitless meeting over a deal for attacker Charles de Ketelaere. That is according to Sempre Milan, who claim that the two clubs met in Switzerland today, though the Serie A side have refused to increase their offer, while Brugge are standing firm in their valuation.

Leeds United remain the side with the only bid Brugge deem acceptable at this stage, but de Ketelaere’s preference for Milan still stands between them completing a deal. Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and CEO Ivan Gazidis are now set for a phone call with owners Elliott Management to request additional funds, which if rejected, could spell the end of their de Ketelaere pursuit.
Gutierrez eyed
Leeds United have added Real Madrid left-back Miguel Gutierrez to their transfer list, according to reports. Journalist Ekrem Konur has reported that Leeds could make a move for the 20-year-old.
The Whites are on the hunt for a left-back after Leif Davis departed Elland Road to join League One side Ipswich Town on Monday. Junior Firpo, Leeds' first choice left-back, will miss the start of the Premier League season through injury, while Jesse Marsch has 18-year-old Leo Hjelde in reserve. Jack Harrison and Pascal Struijk have also been tried at left-back during pre-season.
