A round-up of the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Tuesday, 13 September.
Leeds United favourites to sign West Ham youngster Harrison Ashby
Leeds United are reportedly set to pounce on West Ham youngster Harrison Ashby with his contract set to expire at the end of the year. Newcastle United held talks with the Hammers last month over a potential loan deal, according to reports, but Ashby remained at the London Stadium beyond deadline day.
The young defender has already featured for David Moyes' side in the Europa Conference League and the club activated a contract option to keep him at the club until next summer. However, journalist Dean Jones claims Leeds are in a good position.
“They do still like him. I think, from here, it’s going to depend on how West Ham decide to deal with him,” he told Give Me Sport. “Whether they reassess his contract situation and they can convince him of their own plans, there’s a lot to be sorted out there over the next few months.”
AC Milan 'watching' Leeds United's Luis Sinisterra
AC Milan have reportedly view Leeds United new boy Luis Sinisterra as a potential replacement for Chelsea target Rafael Leao. The Portuguese attacker was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge last summer but no move would transpire.
Todd Boehly's Blues have splashed the cash since his arrival and do not seem deterred in their pursuit. According to Italian journalist Carlo Pellegatti, who was speaking with Numero Diaz, he believes Milan are looking at Sinisterra to replace lose Rafael Leao.
He said: “If unfortunately, and let’s hope not, Leao had to leave, a player I would like and who looks a lot like him is Sinisterra, today at Leeds.”
