Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Wednesday, 13 July 2022.
CDK update
Club Brugge would reportedly prefer to sell attacker Charles de Ketelaere to Leeds United than AC Milan as they are able to pay more up front. That is according to the Daily Mirror, via TeamTalk, who claim the Whites are willing to offer a club record £31.6 million fee, with £25.6 million of that coming up front.
Of course, Leeds know by now that a club’s preference is not the be all and end all in a transfer saga, as has been apparent with Raphinha this summer. It has been well documented that de Ketelaere’s preferred destination is AC Milan due to their ability to offer Champions League football, however if they cannot meet the asking price then Leeds could be there waiting to swoop in.
Kalimuendo race
Newcastle United have reportedly moved ahead of Leeds United in the race to sign PSG striker Arnaud Kalimuendo. That is according to Media Foot, who claim the Magpies have accelerated their interest in recent days and have not been put off by their £21 million asking price.

Leeds were reported to have made a bid for Kalimuendo last month, though at this stage their first choice striker target appears to still be Charles de Ketelaere. The longer they pursue that deal could allow Newcastle to swoop in for young PSG star.
Wolves win Collins battle
Wolverhampton Wanderers have won the race to sign Burnley centre back Nathan Collins. Collins had been linked to a host of Premier League clubs including Leeds United this summer, but it is Wolves who have swooped in to secure his signature.
The Republic of Ireland international underwent a medical yesterday after Bruno Lage’s side agreed a fee in the region of £20.5 million. Collins’ first game for his new side will come against Leeds, as Wolves travel to Elland Road on the opening day.
